Vintage Shawnee Smiley Bank/Cookie Jar

I am selling to give Mr. Smiley a home where he can be well taken care of. I am selling for a friend who received this piggy bank/cookie jar at birth in 1952. He is moving onto a house boat and no longer can keep it. It is in good condition with a chip on the inside of his trousers and some wear on the finish. At one point it was cracking and was repaired.
